FOR SHOW & TELL: THE ART OF TIME
\"COME EXPLORE ALL THAT TIME HAS TO TELL\"
THE MIND OF ARTIST RANDY TAT \"I created \"Timey the Clown\", the son of a watchmaker, who toured as a performer in the '40s and '50s, juggling clocks," says Tat, who proceeded to use some of the vintage circus posters in his collection to formulate a history, mythology and retro design for the character, even going so far as to portray him in photographs which can be seen on his website http://www.tatonthewall.com. The photos depict Timey's clown wardrobe, antique trunks covered with travel stickers containing his make-up kit and paraphernalia. I have a fascination with the circus and performers,\" explains Tat about the theatrical element in his work. Timey serves as my alter ego, a representation of the artist's long journey for his art.\" \"I am honored to be chosen to participate in this very prestigious show, which also benefits a very important cause," says Tat. "I took the metaphor of time and added my own interest in the circus and clowns to come up with a full-fledged character that adds a back story to the art, giving it depth and an unexpected humanity.\"
TAT HAS CREATED A MINI WONDROUS WONDERLAND OF IMAGINARY STORYLINES, WARM POIGNANT CHARACTERS AND A HEART THROBBING PLOT SET IN A VAUDEVILLE - LIKE THEATRICAL FANTASY PLAYWORLD, WHERE MANY CHILDREN\'S MINDS LIVE (AND SOME LUCKY ADULTS) ....IN THE RICHNESS OF VIVID FANTASY, CUSHIONED BY GRANDMOTHERLY SENSE OF COMFORT. OH WHAT A BETTER PLACE TO BE, THEN TO DISCOVER THE UNEXPECTED, AS YOU LOOK AND PEEK AND EXPLORE INTO THE TIMELESS WORLD OF \"TIMEY THE CLOWN.\" AS BITS AND PIECES OF HIS WORLD ARE REVEALED. SSSHHH, YOU MAY JUST FIND SOME REALLY AWESOME SECRETS. TIME WILL TELL !!!
